Who said Knitting wasn't sexy?

Saw this From Aquascutum today and it reminded me of this piece from Tao Kurihara (also designer for Comme des Garcons). Exquisite work.

  1. Oh my gosh - this is so timely! I really really need something cutting edge fashionable and sexy and warm to wear when showing my art in upscale venues (many of which are awfully drafty), and I've been racking my brain for design ideas. I think I would add sleeves and make it a little longer, but I love the bust and neckline!

  4. this is beautiful, do you think the pieces are cut and sewn together like clothes? i will explian: suppose the pattern ot motif of each section is a different color, then they'd cut them industrialy then sew them together (?! does it seem logical?)
