This pattern will make a textured mesh blanket that is about 29" wide after blocking. You can also make it wider and longer to make a throw (lightweight and cozy, great for long flights). Or narrower and longer for a scarf!

Depending on how wide you want your afghan, you can double or triple the number of stitches to cast on and make it as long as you like.
